Why write it down

Each pair works both ways
If 6 + 4 = 10 then 4 + 6 = 10 too. Ten sums, but only five things to learn.
They make a staircase

You can tell when you have them all
Start at 0 and go up to 10. Once the staircase is finished, there are no pairs left to find.
