Twenty-nine, then thirty. Thirty-nine, then forty. Every time the ones run out, the tens go up by one.
Why it repeats
There are only ten digits. Once you have used them all, the only way to keep going is to start again with one more ten.

You do not always have to start at one. Try starting at fifty. The pattern works from any point.
