The tricky one is 19. One more than 19 is 20, not "ten ten".

Why 19 is the hard one

Going from 19 to 20 changes both digits at once. The ones roll back to zero and the tens go up. Every other step changes only one digit.

It happens at every ten

The same jolt comes at 29, 39, 49. Once you know where the hard step is, you can slow down exactly there.
