The shape is usually chosen
A wheel is round so it rolls. A table is flat so things stay on it. Someone picked the shape for a reason.
Shapes hide inside things
A house is not a triangle, but its roof is. Look at parts of things, not only whole things.
Say what makes it that shape
Do not just say circle. Say it is a circle because it is round with no corners. Then you know you are right.
