After three comes four. After four comes five. The list keeps going.

Five is a whole hand

Hold up one hand. That is five. You carry five around with you, so it is an easy one to remember.

The last one tells you

The last number you say is how many there are. Not the loudest one. Not the first one. The last one.

Why the last one

Every thing got one number. So the biggest number you reached is how many things you touched.

You do not count again

Once you have said five, you know it is five. You do not have to start over to find out.
