Today's five
Things a child learned in September quietly fade by November unless they come back to them. Today’s five is how they come back: five quick questions a day, drawn from chapters your child has already passed — leaning toward the ones passed longest ago, which are exactly the ones starting to fade. The questions come from the chapter checks themselves, so they can be Math, Science or Reading.
How it works
- It shows in the Today panel at the top of the home page, which you see once you are signed in, when nothing comes before it: no lesson left part-way, and no week running (see This week). Tap Start.
- Five questions, one at a time, each saying how long ago its chapter was passed. Answer, then tap Check. Two minutes, usually.
- A right answer says Still got it. Any other answer shows the right one straight away — that moment of seeing it again is the whole point. There is one try per question, then Next one.
- The last screen shows how many were right today. Done is done for the day, and the panel says so. Tomorrow brings five different ones.
There is nothing to lose
Today’s count is forgotten tomorrow. Nothing is locked, and a missed day breaks nothing. It is a small daily habit, not a streak to protect.
